Add Comment Marilyn says this one is for her mother. I am planning to use a Donna Kleinke block flower and convert it to a pantograph only I will not connect the flowers. Dec 24: Picked up this beautiful quilt back on December 24. Other demands on Marilyn and uncooperative weather have put this one in the no hurry category. First received, first quilted policy puts this one second in my queue. Jan 20: Loading Here is Marilyn's latest quilt using the "Take 5" pattern once again. She uses some of the metallic butterflies fabrics, some of the clouds fabric like I used on the back of Gislaine's quilt. I like it, Marilyn! I like it a lot. Great work. I promise to try to get better photos to do this quilt justice. "Take 5" is a pattern where each of five fabrics gets equal play in the quilt and each block contains all five fabrics. Here Marilyn is dragonflies and clouds. Longarm design will be dragonflies of course! Marilyn Pusey is a gal after my own heart. She loves metallic butterflies too! Here are two quilts using those beautiful fabrics that I will longarm for her. New to quilting, she is off to a great start & her piecing is beautiful! Like me, she is in love with the fabrics, the piecing & the quilts. Quilting is a wonderful world for all levels. I will of course be posting more pictures as I begin longarming these later this week. Marilyn has now picked her colors with turquoise on top & bottom of the blue backed one and some shade of pink top & bottom on the pink backed one. The blue one is loaded and ready to longarm as I wait for the turquoise thread to come in. Back in business as the thread came in late yesterday. Finished the second quilt on the 10th. Sunday October 10: The blue/turquise quilt is done. The pink one tomorrow. |
